The aramid based composite material for SZ DC-5BY is higher strength than any others similar materials. We’ve compared and tested hundreds of aramid materials and finally select the best suitable model for SZ DC-5BY. Compared to DC-2B and FC series, the DC-5BY is much lighter and thinner.
Along with new high strength materials appeared, the enhanced body armor is achieved. Different with traditional materials, the new DC-5BY can integrate the bulletproof function and the stab resistant function together. At the same time, the bulletproof & stab proof panel kept the light weight as a single functional bulletproof vest. The bulletproof and stab proof combination protection levels can be mixed by each level in both NIJ 0101.06 and NIJ 0115.00/UK HOSDB/BAS2017.
